How To Make An Infrared
Transmitter Circuit
Hello Friends, Let’s do some another
electronic fun. Electronics circuits are
a couple of fun if you are interested in
electronic circuits. In this post I have
brought a new idea for the people
who are interested to make their own
Infrared Transmitter Circuit for
home purpose. The article will show
you that how can you make your own
Infrared Transmitter Circuit and how
this Infrared Transmitter works.
Because clapping is not possible with
a single hand, similarly Infrared
Transmitter Circuit is useless without
Infrared Receiver Circuit. If you are
transmitting infrared signals with this
circuit then you have to detect those
infrared signals and perform
operations on the basis of those
infrared signals. Just after this article i
will bring an another post that will be
How to build an infrared receiver
circuit. But first know about how this
infrared transmitter works.
The circuit for infrared transmitter
given below uses two batteries of 1.5
Volt each or you can also use 3 Volt
lithium battery.To give a better
infrared response, an frequency
ossillator is used in this infrared
transmitter. The current consumption
of this circuit is completely depends
on the power supply of the circuit and
the duration of pressing the switch
S1. All the parameters are dependent
on the Vb voltage. If the Vb voltage is
2 Volt, then the frequency is 29.3 KHz,
The LEDs top current is 25 mA and
the total current consumption is 27
mA.
Similarly if the Vb voltage is extended
to 3.2 Volt, then the frequency will be
30.4 KHz, LED top current is 64 mA
and the total current consumption will
be 67 mA.The distance between
transmitter and receiver at this voltage
was 13 meters.
The attachment will explain a
lot......
